What size pool table do I have?

Knowing the size of your table is important, especially when purchasing new cloth or felt.

What size pool table do I have?

The size of a pool table is determined by measuring the playing surface of the table. To determine the size of your pool table, follow these steps:

  1. Measure the length of the playing surface: Starting at one end of the table, measure the length of the playing surface from cushion to cushion. This is typically the longest dimension of the table.

  2. Measure the width of the playing surface: Starting at one side of the table, measure the width of the playing surface from cushion to cushion. This is typically the shorter dimension of the table

  3. Determine the size of the table: Use the following chart to determine the size of your pool table based on the length and width of the playing surface:

    • 7-foot table: Playing surface is 39 inches by 78 inches
    • 8-foot table: Playing surface is 44 inches by 88 inches
    • 8OS-foot table: Playing surface is 46 inches by 92 inches
    • 9-foot table: Playing surface is 50 inches by 100 inches

It's important to note that the overall size of the pool table, including the rails and pockets, will be larger than the playing surface measurements.
